Nominations for January, 2014 Book of the Month

The faithful book club members are obviously still floundering in the leftover gift wrap, cookie containers, fruitcake crumbs, blackened Yule logs, etc, including me.

Nevertheless, it is time to nominate, vote on and begin reading our January selection. I have no suggestions for topic, except that I think a short book would be a good idea!

Please post your suggestions by New Year's Day, if possible!

And eagerly will find the right address
And tenant, even in a wilderness.

Hmmm. I believe I shall extend the nominations deadline for a day or two. Happy New Year!!

I am very much behind on the two latest Book Club reads, but I suppose I can suggest a book that I am about to read soon anyway, just to get things started. So I'll suggest The Blue Notebook by James A. Levine.

I am way far behind and probably can't commit to a new read. There are just so many things on my own tbr list!

Ok, we have two enticing nominations, and I'll add a third to get things to the next step, to vote. I nominate Dreaming in Cuban, by Christina Garcia. A copy has been sitting in my to-be-read pile for awhile!
