If you haven't seen the film "Land of the Blind" you should really give it a look. It just came out on dvd. It's a political thriller/satire starring Ralph Fiennes. It had a lot of dark, subversive humor, reminded me of Kubrick in more ways than one. It was refreshing to see a film commenting on modern global politics that way. I saw it last nite because my coworker at umgd let me borrow her copy. I definitely recommend you watch it as well. There's more information about the film at www.myspace.com/landoftheblindthemovie.
