New Zealand hit again by earthquake

Last September's earthquake was bad enough, but Christchurch, NZ was hit again today, 6.3 magnitude this time, but shallower and closer to the center of town. News is just beginning to come out:

I'm glad Phantom Paragrapher lives in northern New Zealand, but hope damage will be quickly overcome for all victims. Can't imagine how scary t go through this twice, in such a short time.

I just seen that on the news. Hopefully damage and injures are not too bad.

Someone I know moved to Christchurch over the weekend. I think she's ok, but it's going to be a long and hard path to recovery. I just hope they are able to help more people from the rubble:(

Hey all , the whole of NZ was impacted by this as their are 98 confirmed dead and 226 still missing, My friend was staying in Chch when it hit , she was outside at lunch. Shes safe and sound but the earthquake people are saying that they think the earthquake movement will slowly move up the country. Hopefully not where I am as they had one where I live in 1987 - a few months b4 I was born that was pretty bad.
