The Lily Bard Mysteries - Charlaine Harris ( 5 Books in One)

Charlaine Harris is great at creating books that you can't put down. I'm a big Sookie Stackhouse fan and my guilty pleasure is the spin-off HBO series TrueBlood. You do know that her newest Sookie book comes out this Spring, right?

Hey Frith,
Im with you on that , I love True Blood especially the Series own S1 and S2 on DVD. Yes, heard as soon as it was rumoured to be released. :) Can't Wait for it :).
Whose your fav characters , I just love Sookie - as Anna is from New Zealand and Im leaning more towards Eric though Godric was pretty hot and Jason - he used to play Vinnie on Home and Away and his character traits are so similiar.

I, of course, like Sookie but who doesn't? Anna Paquin is an amazing actress and she fits the bill for the character nicely, although Sookie is supposed to be a curvier.

I'll be honest I've always hated Bill and only watching TrueBlood made this fact set in stone because Steven Moyer fits his character above and beyond.

Don't get me started about Eric and Alexander Skarsgard. =] Mmmm Godric in the show was amazingly hot. haha

I loved the TV series because I seriously loved the casting bill because every actor/actress fit perfectly the characters in my head and the book series has a unique style of its own.

Im with you, the casting that they did for all the characters were perfect even Tara , Sam and Lafeyette fit in well. I wonder who they are going to cast as the Fae Twins Claude and Claudette and Amelia the Witch and of course Im a bit behind as Im waiting for s3 to come on DVD before watching it , so I havent seen who plays Alcide yet.

The guy who plays Alcide is gorgeous! =] The DVDs should be out in April/May.

I did like the sutle differences in the series and the books...and I am REALLY glad that Lafayette is in all the seasons; the actor is amazing....

Oh, I liked how the character Amy Burley had a bigger role in the tv series than in the books.

I loved this book It was really neat to see the story through Brees eyes, and now I am looking forward to seeing Bree in Eclipse It was a little sad though reading the book cause she was so likable and yet aftering reading Eclipse, you already know her outcome.
