This is a book of the "fast-paced, hard-to-put-down, tour-de-force" category. ;)
Somewhere between a crime thriller and an espionage/war story, this novella centers around a drug-dealing, weapons smuggling Vietnam War era veteran (American rogue Jason Glenn Dawson) and his eventual nemesis: Kim Anh Thi (a beautiful transgendered :rolleyes: Vietnamese-American CIA agent).
Rip-roaring action scenes, explicit sexual interludes, and a slam-bang ending assured me of never being bored.
Mercure knows how to titillate :p and he actually does so with more than a hint of class. :good:
