greetings everyone ;) I study languages at university and we were given a task to translate a text by John Williams - "Black Ceasar's". One the whole the text seems to be quite easy; however, it contains abundance of colloquial expressions which I do not understand  . That's why I would be very thankful if someone helped me a little bit )) plz! help me to comprehend the meaning of several phrases
What is the meaning of these words/phrases:
1). draw - is it some kind of drug?
2). to kick the ball into tough (in regby)- what does this mean?
3). ".. a grand up front and a TON a week..." - just how much exactly is a TON?
4). "you go on home GIVE the missis ONE" - is it a suggestion to have sex with wife?
5).(about the guard in the club)"...when most of the blokes are too pissed to fuction, Mikey leaves the dorr, comes to club, and EASES ON IN." - so does this phrase mean that he just relaxes there or that he kicks the guys out of the club?
6). what is FEZ ?
thanks very much! cheers! :good:
