Happy Thanksgiving! I am a little bit sad to be missing thanksgiving in the US, but not really. Last night I went to a thanksgiving dinner of sorts that was held in a nearby city with lots of other assistants. Funny thing was, there were more brits than Americans there! Nonetheless good thanksgiving food.

I spent today teaching French kids about Thanksgiving food. :D Well, and other aspects of Thanksgiving, but primarily food. Students: "Pumpkin pie? Gross!" "Do you eat all of that all together?" Me: "It's mashed potatoes not mash-ed potatoes" "Yes, some Americans also celebrate Christmas" (for some reason, people seem to think that instead of celebrating Christmas, we celebrate Thanksgiving in the US)
