Hello fellow members of this board :D My name's Amara, and I just joined a few days ago. I was looking for more forums to join [because I seem to be addicted] and stumbled upon this one. I've just graduated high school last june, and I now [unfortunately] have plenty of off time while I look for a job.

As for literature - Oscar Wilde & Tess Gerritsen are my two favorite authors. I think I discovered both in middle school and I've been reading their works since. I also love a good mystery . Aside from reading I love to write & draw fashion design in my spare time. I'm also a [i] huge music addict, and you can usually find me on the Keane or Secret Machines message board :D

I hope to engage you all in some conversation at some point, I love meeting new people. :)

Haha Hi there, I'm fairly new around here too. I'm sure you'll make friends with everyone quick, what kind of music do you like? I enjoy everything from Story of the year and Chevelle to Metallica and Corrosion of Conformity to Lil' wayne and Young Jeezy lol. I hope to see you post some of your own work here too, like shorties or poems or such, well i'm off, hope to talk again soon.

what kind of music do you like?

Well, I love pretty much all kinds of music, though I usually stay away from Rap & Country. Just not really my cuppa tea :p Rock & Classic Rock especially are my musical addictions; No matter what though, I always listen to Keane, The Secret Machines, The Beatles, The Who & Led Zepplin.

As for posting stuff of my own, I don't have as much as I'd like, but I may have to post something. The challenge is deciding which piece to post :rolleyes:

As much as I like the original CSI: as it started it all, I'm absolutely addicted to CSI:Miami. The writing & plotline seem to have degraded a bit this season, but I can't stop watching. :D

Hi Amara! So glad to have you with us. I, too, am a mystery lover, in both books, tv and film. I'm a Law and Order addict, though, not CSI. ;) And The Who...yes ma'am!! I've seen them 4 times in concert (after Keith Moon died, but before John Entwsitle died, may they rest in peace.) Sat out all night for tickets, and got seats right up front. They were amazing! I also saw the broadway version of Tommy twice.

Enjoy yourself here, and post a lot. You'll get to know everyone very quickly. :)
