I decided to vote for my own nomination in the end, just because it's shorter than Shakespeare and I'm thinking of the people who contribute to the book of the month discussion every month who always seem to be pressed for reading time.

Hi all, I didn't get a chance to nominate, but I voted for The Merchant of Venice. Hope that is ok. Thanks all.

certainly. it's better I think to have more voters than nominators. :D it's just lately that we've had the same number of people voting and nominating, which is less good when everyone votes for the book they nominated and there is no one extra to break the tie!

Voted for R & G Are Dead - just because it's the only one I haven't read yet, and I'm curious! Shakespeare in any form is not a poor second, though!

Oh heck! Somebody's going to have to spin a coin again, but at least it's only between two texts so you can use a coin this time!

Oh how apt that R & G should win on the flip of a coin and that it should be heads too! You'll see what I mean when you read the opening of the play!
