This forum is for discussing philosophy and religion books.

To discuss philosophy and religion in general go to Religious and Philisophical Thought at http://www.literatureforums.net/vb3/forumdisplay.php?f=117

That link (http://www.literatureforums.net/viewforum.php?f=31) is dead now. Just so you know. Is that the Secret Debating Society?

[edit]: Oh, I guess you mean the philosophical discussion section: http://www.literatureforums.net/vb3/forumdisplay.php?f=117

I do have a satellite of questions about this, though. Where is the line drawn between discussing a book and discussing a philosophy? I know that discussing Platonic idealism, especially involving a number of his different works would be a no-no.

On the other hand, Ayn Rand's Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology would seem to be so involved w/ the philosophy that I would have trouble knowing where discussion about the book ended and the objectivism in general began...

Discussing a book means discussing the book itself, specifically.....theme, author, meaning of the book, philosophy in that particular book, etc. The other thread is for discussing philosophical themes, ideas, theories in general.
