As there is a tie, time to flip a coin to determine the June read.
And the winner is . . . The Reader, by Bernhard Schlink!

Not having read any of these i read reviews to get an idea of which one might suit me as a read and both The Reader and The Awakening sounded interesting. I voted for The Awakening but don't mind reading the other one. I'll have to get hold of it now.

Ok, I've read it, but will review. I haven 't seen the movie, maybe worth comparing! Curious how they handled the movie, anyway.
I just finished Beatrice and Virgil by Martel.
Great book, would reeeealy suit a book-club, even when disliked. But Alas. Democracy. Ask not what the book-club can do for you but what you can do for your book club. Butterfly ballots. Claim Florida, win. And so forth and so on. Luckily this poll is not likely to send anyone to Iraq. Help. I've lost my own plot now. Which is not good when speaking about books. Off to bed now. Good night and God bless.

Why not treat us to a book review of Beatrice and Virgil, KneD? I'm curious about the book.
