Hi,
I like so much train travel rather than air flights, a specially journey with Reserved Window Seat in Day time.
It is really amazing experience for me.
So, what about yours travel choice??

I very much agree with you aahenry95.
My father was a conductor on the CPR, Canadian Pacific Railway and I travelled with him hundreds of times. Only once did we reserve the suite on one of the runs but it was heaven. We had breakfast while we were on the last fifty miles or so of the journey and every thing was gorgeous. I loved looking at my father, so handsome in his navy uniform and his expensive gold watch with chain and fob. And I loved hearing' tickets please, tickets.
The meals in the dining cars were first rate and I remember once something had blocked our way while travelling far up into the north of Canada and the porter came with soft lovely smelling blankets and vats of hot chocolate, tea, coffee, magazines and books for us to read while we waited.
I was quite young on that trip and I remember someone said ' of all the places to get stuck up here in God's country' and I looked out the window and was quite disappointed I did not see God strolling along the wooded path!
I love ocean travel as well but not flying so much except I love helicopters. To me they are like birds and you can go up and down and sideways and get into areas a plane can never go. Lovely.
