Whatever time zone, climate region and space/time continuum you're in, I hope you have an excellent birthday. Getting some decent books for gifts wouldn't hurt either;)

Happy Birthday! :)

Mmm, I think I'm going to steal some of those cookies that Jez has offered you, if you don't mind. :p

Nice! They look like poptarts, which I haven't had in years! So thank you for those sweet delictable delights! I was born on Easter, my father was born on Christmas, my mother on Walpurgisnacht, and my daughter was almost born on Thanksgiving - for my ex was in labor nearly all of Thanksgiving. She had to have a C eventually, so she was born on Black Friday.

Strange coincidences - and my last name is Sheppard... and a bit ironic too...since I'm an atheist to boot.

Thanks again for your warm wishes and treats!

That is funny about all of your birthdays :) (and the cookies do look like poptarts now that you mention it!) How do you like having your birthday on a holiday? Mine is on new year's eve, which is nice since it's easy to remember, but isn't all that great otherwise.

An old friend of mine was born on Christmas Eve, her elder sister on Easter Eve and her younger sister on Midsummer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midsummer). :) Nothing like that in my family though.

Only every eleven years or so it falls on Easter, I think. But my dad doesn't like how his is on Christmas because he thinks he gets less presents, and most people (like my mom) that I've talked to don't even know what Walpurgisnacht is (at least in the States). My daughters birthday will eventually fall on Thanksgiving a few times during her lifetime.

I was never into the whole New Year's Eve thing, but perhaps now I have a reason to celebrate on that day now. ;)
