I was very surprised when I didn't find such a thread here... I fell in love (there's no other word for it!) with Gardner's books when I was 12 or something and I re-read them a couple of years after, and I think I'd re-read them once more if I have a chance... The plots are complicated yet elegant and Perry and Della are still among my all-time favorite characters! I also read another of his series about Donald Lam but I didn't like him that much. So, what do you think of the writer and his books?
