Nominations for September 2011 Book of the Month

I know it's early but I thought we might as well start inviting nominations for the September Book of the Month.

I havn't got any restrictions in mind so if anybody has got an interesting theme in mind I'm open to suggestions but as far as I'm concerned all nominations are viable at the moment.

I'm voting for Dead Iron by Devon Monk. Western steampunk with a protagonist that's a werewolf... sounds good to me!

Haven't read it, and I'd be a bit curious to do so (dunno if I'll vote though). The film has been getting a lot of criticism for its portrayal of Black women's lives in the 1960s, so now I want to know what all the fuss is about.
