If one of your favorite books/series were turned into a movie, who would play the lead roles?

This is the new question on my mind since I came upon the video for someone's Dragonlance dream casting.

For those of you who have read Dragonlance, I'll say that I agree with Lena Headey as Kitiara, but other than that I don't really agree.

I don't have any dream cast lists of my own at the moment. But if anyone else does . . . it's fun to think about :)

I honestly can't stand Tanis in the books, but with that dream cast? Oh, I am positive I would change my opinion just to drool over David. (But we know it's just a misplaced Faramir crush.) XDDD Why are most of the best actors for characters I want to die? And yay for Nightwish music. The choice for Raistlin is priceless!

I've thought about doing a more complete dream cast listing for The Silmarillion because there are so many elves and Valar left out from my initial list. At one point though I had a dream cast list for The Count of Monte Cristo. Christian Bale would play Edmond Dantes. The only role I couldn't choose an actress for was Haydee. I take that character very seriously so not just anyone will do.

I liked the choice of Nightwish music too. I watched the two response videos as well, but this one's music was best. ;)

I've been giving a lot thought to this topic of yours margaine, and finally tonight at work it hit me!

I'd love to see this book made into a film:

I think Emma Watson would be perfect for the role of Emily.

And she even looks somewhat similar to this young drawing of Emily:

Age her some:

Emily looked young when she died, too, so that won't be much of a problem. I'm not sure yet who I'd cast as Miranda. I'll say more about the book and my choice later when I have time. I'm tired enough to go off to Slumberland right now. I just love Emma Watson's Pixie cut!
